Resource Information:

The new Kelty Resource Centre is a provincial resource centre working to link children, youth and their families with appropriate resources in all areas of mental health and addictions. In addition, the centre also serves the resource needs of adults with an eating disorder.

The primary role of the Centre is to provide timely and relevant information to improve the understanding of mental health and addiction issues among children, youth and families.

The Centre will serve as a provincial resource, encompassing both the needs of those who can visit the centre in person and those who can only access the centre virtually (calling, viewing the website).

Information included in the centre will be evidence-based and client friendly.

Kelty Resource Centre is part of BC Mental Health and Addiction Services (BCMHAS) which plays a key role in the provincial mental health and addictions system in British Columbia. Spanning three hospitals and six regional clinics, the centre provides highly specialized, evidence-based services to meet the needs of children, youth, and adults with complex mental health issues, including concurrent mental health and substance use disorders.
